Hi Becky- We are about to board our plane to St. Lucia and I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you to you and your staff at the Barker. You were all amazing on Saturday, attentive to every little detail! Jim and I are still having a hard time realizing we were actually at our wedding!! But honestly both yourself and the amazing staff you had present for our big day made everything go so smoothly. Both Jim and I were amazed! I will send you a real thank you note when we return, however just wanted you to know how truly thankful we are to you and your team.

Dear Becky, 
I am remiss in not sending this email much sooner, but I want you to know how very please I was with our dinner at Barker Tavern. The food was outstanding. I've never eaten scallops that were that good!! People loved the chicken too. Your ice cream buffet was so nicely done. Those can be so sloppy, and your way of serving was very nice. 

I found Paula, the bartender and the kitchen crew all very helpful...didn't meet the kitchen crew, but they adapted to our late arrivals and served them a hot meal too for which we were very grateful. They had gotten caught in the Kennedy traffic coming up from Baltimore.

Please don't interpret my long overdue response as any negative feelings about the evening. Thank you also for your quick and willing responses to all the planning. Thank goodness for email!!

Dear Becky,
First we want to thank you for all of your guidance and support throughout the planning process. The binder was a terrific help in finding vendors and organizing all of timelines and receipts. You were always so responsive to all of our questions and helpful with ideas that the reception planning seemed to go effortlessly. The vendors all reported a great experience with preparation before the day of the wedding. And thanks again for bar snacks the night before the wedding – the relaxing half hour and great food was great part of our wedding experience (to simply relax and enjoy each other!!).
We have also received numerous compliments about the quality of the food (e.g., several “best swordfish evers”) and impeccable service from our guests. Meals were all served hot and in record tome. In fact, several of our guests have returned for dinner after the wedding! Our personal server was fabulous in anticipating our needs, even keeping our dinners warm until we were able to get back to the head table. They all did a fabulous job of orchestrating the entire evening, from coat check to packing up all of our items to leave with.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience with the Barker Tavern and are so happy with our choice for a reception site. You all did fabulous job of making our wedding a very special evening.
